Barefoot Studio and Arkansas Integrative Pediatrics have teamed up to offer a free weekly yoga class for teens at Barefoot Studio!
We want to encourage teens to explore all the benefits of yoga for themselves.

BENEFITS OF YOGA FOR TEENS
Yoga offers a myriad of benefits for teenagers, both physically and mentally. It's a practice that can help teens manage stress, improve flexibility, and boost self-esteem.

THE CLASS
Safe and welcoming environment for teens 13-19 years old to learn yoga.
Participants will learn how to regulate their nervous system through mindful awareness, supportive movements, and conscious breathing.
This class gives teens a pathway to build healthy connections with their bodies and breath as tools to improve mental and physical health.
No prior experience is required.
*Under age 18 teens must have a guardian fill out the waiver to participate.
THE TEACHER
Lo Patt
Lo is an artist, yogi, and tarot reader from Southern California. They began practicing yoga in 2017 while studying Studio Art at California State University Long Beach.
Lo moved to Little Rock in 2020, carrying their practice to Barefoot Studios. In 2022, they embarked on earning their 200hr YTT with Prison Yoga Project and began facilitating yoga classes for youth at the Pulaski County Juvenile Detention Center in Little Rock.
Lo’s yoga practice is trauma informed, centering mindfulness that gives permission of choice to each participant. Lo has a passion for being in community and connecting with others who are interested in the spiritual world within and around themselves.
REGISTRATION
Parents can click the Registration button below to register. The weekly teen yoga class is available free of charge to teens ages 13 years old - 19 years old. Classes are provided by Barefoot Studio and Arkansas Integrative Pediatrics, and taught by Barefoot Studio teacher Lo Patt. All participants must sign the Barefoot Studio minor waiver. We will create your childs account and email you once we have them in our system.

DO I NEED A YOGA MAT?
Barefoot Studio has plenty of yoga mats for you to borrow, but if you have your own yoga mat you can bring that with you!

WHAT DO I WEAR?
There is no dress code for a yoga class at Barefoot Studio. Wear clothes that are comfortable and that you can move freely in.

DO MY PARENTS STAY?
Parents can choose to wait in our lobby during class if they wish. You can also be dropped off and picked up when the class ends. The lobby is locked to the public during class.

CELL PHONES
Cell phones are to remain the lobby during class. The lobby is locked to the public during class so all of your items will be safe.
If you require your phone with you during class, we ask that you silence the phone.

CAN I TAKE OTHER CLASSES?
Students aged 14 - 17 can take non-heated classes at Barefoot Studio if they want to purchase drop-ins or a class package.
Our Hot/Heated yoga classes are for participants aged 18 and older.

WHAT IF I'M LATE?
Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early for class. We lock the lobby door at the start of class and for liability reasons cannot leave class to unlock the door to sign you in. (Parents make note of this policy if you plan on dropping your child off.)
